Alex has a very strong knowledge of, and a thorough understanding of, the international rail and shipping industries. He has undertaken numerous infrastructure needs assessments and has conducted investment appraisals and provided strategic planning and advisory services to both the shipping and rail sectors. Alex also has extensive experience in the operation and management of international ports and shipping. In addition, Alex has a detailed understanding of the ADF, its policy drivers, its operating environment and experience in the Royal Australian Navy and the Defence Materiel Organisation.
