Dane has more than ten years’ experience working in local government as a senior business consultant, business planner and finance manager. He has developed and managed teams to analyse and improve council services, develop long-term business plans and conduct population projections. Dane has also managed teams of contract officers involved in the tendering, evaluation and awarding of contracts for local councils along with development, maintenance and implementation of organisational policies and contract strategies. As a qualified account/economist Dane has also provided commercial and financial strategic advice to managers and has conducted investment management audits.
