David is a Chartered Professional Engineer currently specialising in System Safety for major railway projects. David was the Safety, Systems Compliance, & Accreditation Director on the Waratah Train PPP Project for Transport for New South Wales, and before that a Principal System Safety Engineer with a specialist consultancy active in the rail, offshore oil and gas, marine, mining and defence sectors.
David has taken the lead in a variety of system safety programs for rail infrastructure, rolling stock, naval, and civil maritime projects. David has a demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and execute rigorous, effective, and efficient safety programs on complex projects, applying innovative approaches to the diverse issues that arise in such programs.
