Indec developed, established and managed the Program Management Office for the delivery of all capital and maintenance projects greater than $200,000.

As part of broader portfolio management, Indec successfully rolled out the Project Management Framework governing all aspects of project delivery – from inception to the end of the defects liability period and final completion of new school construction and infrastructure improvements at existing schools.

Our consistent approach to all project management functions supported by a cloud-based system and detailed procedures and documentation led to the significantly improved control of risks, procurement, scheduling, financials and evaluation activities.

Indec liaised with all stakeholders across all areas to review, revise and agree on the governance structures, roles and responsibilities of all project stakeholders, planning, design, procurement and delivery gateway reviews and management processes, and budget and financial management processes.

Indec provided oversight of the capital and maintenance projects assurance and gateway processes to ensure reporting and compliance were being undertaken in accordance with the standards, frameworks and policies.

The whole program allows for consistency of planning, delivery, process and governance across all projects and effective use of funds provided by the State Government for capital and maintenance projects.
